STATS (Systems Tracking and Technical Support)©

In partnership with the Hamilton Health Services, Horizon Medical Services has developed special software that acts as a one-stop solution to submitting, tracking, and analyze the equipment service and technical support requests of a hospital’s or clinic’s Diagnostic Imaging Department.

STATS is a web-based application, allowing staff within a Diagnostic Imaging Department to receive information on the status of equipment and DI rooms within their facility. Specifically designed to improve efficiency and response times, staff easily access a topographical floor plan that displays rooms with colour-coded status indicators. For example:
  • Red – critical equipment is out of service
  • Yellow – equipment is experiencing problems, but is still usable
  • Green – the room is fully operational
  • Blue – the room is scheduled for preventative maintenance
The user simply has to hover over the room with the computer mouse to view pop-up information about the status of the rooms on the topographical map. Certain users with the appropriate access have the ability to schedule rooms for maintenance, HARP testing, and submit equipment malfunctions.

Service/support personnel can receive request notifications via email and/or pagers, and even through portable devices such as PDAs. The recipient of the request can redirect the notification if necessary depending on the nature of the request. Complete details of the request can be accessed via any hospital PC or even from home. All communications are logged for future reference in the service database.
